Review for Hotel Sorriso, Lido di Venezia:
Hotel Sorriso is a clean and spacious place situated close to Venice, Burano, and Murano, conveniently accessible by water bus. The staff is lovely and wonderful, providing quick check-in services. The rooms are comfortable and feature exceptionally cozy beds. The location is excellent, nestled in a quiet area of Lido and near a fantastic restaurant, making it easy to explore. It's just a 15-minute walk to the South Florida Fair, which is an added bonus!

big and immaculately clean hotel, location was perfect and nice not far from the main sites of the biennale, so very convenient for art lovers, the sea with distant views of venice and easy travelling to venice and other islands, and bus a beach. the staff was caring, they made the stay real good.

We really enjoyed the place and its savoury and tasty breakfast.
everything was perfect, clean hotel, favourable and fab location to the main tourist sights in venice. everyone we encountered was very, very nice. budget room with bathroom, balcony was ready when we checked-in. the breakfast food was good, different choices to eat like tea, pastries, and cheese. the whole experience was excellent, no complaints, recommend.

This hotel was super clean and conveniently located near the beach. The breakfast was delicious, especially with the fresh watermelon, and the staff was really attentive and caring! I booked a room with balconies which I really enjoyed. Plus, having a bus stop nearby was a nice bonus! 🌊.

The 2nd room we had (after our stay in the small back unit, which was okay but not worth the 130Euros) was spacious, bright and had a great balcony. The shutters allowed you complete darkness if you needed to sleep in. The bed was a great size and the pillows were excellent. This being our 9th hotel in 5 weeks we found it to be comfortable and the Man at reception was accommodating and friendly. (The lady needs a little cheering up though. Nice enough.) Wifi was great, (they seem to charge you for it but we didn't end up having to pay = happy. Maybe it was the dud 1st room payback..? The breakfast was quite good and the quietness of the hotel and the area were perfect.
It's a fair walk to the public beach but we just set up on the private beach area and waited to see if we got kicked off, we didn'T. The shower is not constantly hot, with cooler spells repeatedly interfering. I love my showers so that was annoying. For 130Euros a night, I expected a bit more luxury, considering we've paid less and gotten more value in other hotels. All in all it was a good experience though.

Guests can enjoy a particularly nice view from the room, and the staff is incredible and accommodating. The location is favorable for those visiting the Coral Sky Amphitheatre.

It's price is half that of staying on the Island of Venice. Being located within a short (10 minute max) walking distance from the Lido beach was awesome. It's about a 5-10 bus then transfer to vaparetto (water bus) ride over to the island of Venice, which is easy to do and helps justify saving all the money you would be spending to stay on Venice. I've been to Venice 3 times and this was the cheapest and nicest place I've stayed. I would stay here again.

The quality and room at the hotel is good. Room and toilet were clean, bright, sunny. Not much variety in breakfast, but okay. If anyone like to live near the beach its a very good option. Rooms were as it was shown in the picture.
To go to city center (Venice) you have to take a bus and then water bus. On average it can be 1 hour. So keep it in mind when you think about communication. Considering to find a hotel in Mestre region could be a faster option. This hotel is in Lido. Only problem I found is the disruptive wireless internet connection in the room. I had to come to the hotel lobby/dining area to use internet. Which was still disruptive but usable. I have booked my room for 3 nights, requested for 1 night more. My request was accepted, but did not get any confirmation mail from the hotel or Booked.net.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
